Age 88. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude. Dearest father of Garland Rogers and James (Ann) Rogers. Loving grandfather of Jennifer Smith, Adam (Beth) Rogers, Alicia Giordano and Amanda Giordano. Dear great grandfather of Caitlynn Smith, Aiden Rogers and Jacob Rogers. Preceded in death by his parents James and Lucille Rogers and his sister Marguerite (Gordon) Burke. Downriver Veterans Honor Guard Service Saturday 10:30 am followed by Funeral Service at 11:00 am. at the Weise Funeral Home 7210 Park Ave., Allen Park (313 382-1150). Visitation Friday 1 - 8 pm. Interment Monday 11 am at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West.
