Scott Alan Stacey

Age 44, passed away peacefully December 7, 2012. Loved by all who knew him, Scott was a cherished science teacher and administrator at Southgate Adult and Community Education and co-founder of the award-winning Asher Golf Program. He received his BA from Michigan State and later received his MA in Education from Wayne State University. Scott loved to golf, vacation in Northern Michigan, enjoy time with friends and family, and was an avid Spartan. He will be sorely missed by his wife Pam McAuslan, his daughter Lauren, his parents Sandra and Delwyn, his brother Eric, sister-in-law Katy (Drewniak), nieces Samantha and Emily, his mother and father-in-law Ken and Gerry McAuslan, as well as many cousins, friends, co-workers and students. The family wishes to thank the staff of both Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit and Angela Hospice in Livonia for their kindness and dedicated care. Visitation Monday 2 - 8 pm at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park Ave., Allen Park (313-382-1150).
