Rose M. Rose

NEE Kreps age 84, of Allen Park, passed away on Sunday morning February 7, 2010 at Oakwood South Shore Hospital in Trenton. Born October 29, 1925 in Moorhead, MN to Golda and Lloyd Kreps, Rose married Wilson James Rose on January 30, 1945. Survivors include her children Linda (Dennis) Musser of Grass Lake, William (Judi) Rose of Columbia, SC, and Ronald (Kate) Rose of Allen Park; 9 grandchildren; 14 grandchildren; sisters Mildred Lee of Seattle, WA and Ruth (Ross) Matthews of Moorhead, MN; and brothers Jim (Carol) Kreps also of Moorhead, MN and Fred (Marion) Kreps of Fargo, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Wilson; sisters and brothers, Annabelle Johnson, Doris Sweet, Margaret Whaley, Bill Kreps, Jean Bankers and Ronald Kreps. After graduating High School in Moorhead, Rose became a licensed beautician. She had her own beauty salon and had many loyal customers for over 40 years. She loved traveling and spending time with her family. A celebration of Rose’s life will be held Wednesday at Weise Funeral Home 7210 Park Ave., Allen Park (313 382-1150) at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be Tuesday 3 – 8 pm. Interment will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Heartland Hospice.
