Robert E. Thomason

Robert Thomason of Allen Park passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026. Loving husband of Kathleen Thomason who passed recently. Loving father of Kim (Paul) Myslinski, Bob (Wendy) Thomason, Connie (Al) Swistara, Courtney (Nick) Ramirez, Archie (dog) and Leo (cat). Dear stepfather of Rhonda (late Frank May) Gore, Rayleen (John Kirn) Parrinello, Nadine Dunn, Tami Dunn. Dear brother of Jim (late Sylvia), Harold (Vickie), Gary (Cindy) and Larry (Sherri) Thomason. Godfather of Seth Gore. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great paw children.

Bob was one of the most generous, hardworking and selfless people you could ever meet. With a heart of gold and the greatest jokester around, he would do anything for anyone. He was an avid golfer, and he also loved hockey and bowling. He loved his “Alexa” and listening to his old country music daily. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.

Visitation for Robert will be from 1:00pm - 5:00pm Monday, September 14 at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park, Allen Park (313-382-1150).

Cremation will take place following visitation.

Memorial contributions to St. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
