Age 96. February 6, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Lillian. Loving father of Ken (Carol) Obriot, Kathy (Chuck) Poole, Kevin (Pam) Obriot, Kelly Obriot and Keith (Renee) Obriot. Dear brother of Dan Obriot and the late Katherine Rigato. 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Richard proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. Visitation 12:00pm - 5:00pm Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park Avenue, Allen Park (313-382-1150). Richard's funeral service will take place at 1:00pm Saturday, February 11 at Weise Funeral Home with Rev. Bob McCabe officiating. Honor Guard service will take place at 4:30pm Saturday, February 11 at Weise Funeral Home with the Wyandotte Veterans Honor Guard. Entombment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
