Richard L. Daoust

Age 70. July 16, 2008. Richard lost his 6 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his devoted wife Ellen and his blended family of Maureen (Roger) Hedlund, Dan (Sherry) Daoust, Marjie (Jimmy) Swiney, Michael (Sarah) Daoust, Terri (Ron) McKay, and Chris (Laurie) Thome. Also survived by sister Janet (John) Kavanagh and long time friend Ella Taylor. Fifteen grandchildren will also miss their beloved "Papa". Visitation 2-8pm Sunday at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park, Allen Park (313-382-1150).Scripture Service Sunday 5 pm. Funeral Service 1pm Monday (In State from 12:30pm) at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 6442 Pelham, Taylor. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be sent to Karmanos Cancer Institute.
