Raymond J. Oleszkowicz

Raymond John Oleszkowicz, 91, of Allen Park, MI, passed away on March 27, 2021. He was under hospice care. Ray was born on August 4, 1929 to Catherine (nee Swiatek) and John Oleszkowicz in Detroit, MI. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Robert and Leonard and sister-in-law Barbara. He is survived by his brother Chester as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.

Ray proudly served in the Army during the Korean War. He was blessed with an amazing memory of facts and details. He loved watching and following all sports but especially the Detroit Tigers, Lions and Red Wings. Ray regularly walked many miles in the neighborhood prior to his failing health. He always enjoyed family holidays, gatherings, monthly dinners and annual Tiger game outings. Ray will be remembered as a gentle, caring, perceptive and generous man. He will be forever missed and never forgotten.

There will be a private memorial for immediate family. His final resting place will be at St. Hedwig Cemetery and Mausoleum in Dearborn Heights, MI.
