Patricia Ann (Baratone) Levay

Age 86. Patricia Levay lived a blessed life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and her son David. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Ann (Steve) Anderson and Pamela Ann Levay. Grandchildren Matthew (Elizabeth) Anderson, Sarah (Brian) Dellapella, and Jeremy (Sarah Farina) Anderson. She enjoyed her 4 great grandchildren, Luca, Hannah, Everett and Madison.

She was born in 1937 in a mining community in the U.P. near Ironwood, MI. Her parents were James and Helen (Fredrickson) Baratone. She was the oldest of 5 siblings, Judy and (late) Richard Hanson, (late) Barabra and Don Taylor, Frank and (late) Maureen Baratone, and Betty and John Warner.

Patricia married her high school sweetheart, Don. She was mainly a homemaker dedicated to raising her children and supporting her grandchildren. Before having children, Pat worked at a bank as a secretary to the vice president. After Don retired from GM, she worked at Intercity Baptist Senior Manor serving in the kitchen. Pat was the original owner and lived over 65 years in her Allen Park home.

Up to the very last week, aides, nurses and doctors all commented on her friendliness and joyful attitude. We will miss her laugh, superb jello molds, and playing Blitz.

A memorial visitation for Patricia will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 11-3 pm with a funeral service at 3 pm at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park Avenue, Allen Park, MI 48101.
