Mikhail "Misha" Randall Kleiman

Mikhail ("Misha") Randall Kleiman, passed away unexpectedly on August 17, 2021, as a result of an automobile accident. Misha was born in Moscow, Russia on August 4, 2000. He became a part of the Kleiman family in July of 2004, when he was three years old.  Misha immediately made lifelong friends and, living in Dewitt, evolved into an all-American boy with a special love for anything mechanical, especially trucks, cars and boats. Misha attended St. Gerard and Lansing Catholic Central where he played hockey and football. He graduated in 2019. He was especially fond of Lake Michigan. From his first summer in Michigan, he spent a great deal of time in Pentwater with his family and friends. It was his special place. Misha was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a gentle giant. He had a number of nicknames but was most often referred to as Big Mish by his friends; not just because of his stature but more for his big heart. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He had an easy demeanor and a unique sense of humor. Misha is survived by his mother and father, Jane and Randy Kleiman, and his siblings, Ellen (Tony) Ward, Kathryn (Elliot) Gabel, RJ (Megan) Kleiman and Sarah (Andy) Carter. He was a very special uncle to Mikayla Jane, Finnley, Evelyn, Ivy, Clay and Rowan. Misha left behind a huge void and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Visitation for Misha will be from 11:00am - 1:30pm Saturday, August 21 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow Highway, Lansing, MI.

Funeral service will take place at 1:30pm Saturday, August 21 at St. Gerard Catholic Church.
