Michael F. Veres

Age 83 July 4, 2006 of Allen Park. Loving husband of Helen. Beloved father of the late Carol (Robert) Craigmile. Cherished grandpa of Alex Craigmile. Mike was a proud member of the Allen Park Knights of Columbus and a devout participant of the St. Frances Cabrini Church for over 45 years serving as both deacon and usher. He was a quiet kind hearted soul who avidly donated his time and talents to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit. He was a proud member of the Merchant Marines, and employed at Chrysler Corporation for 40 years. He greatly enjoyed golf and bowling, and was also a proud U of M fan. Mike leaves behind many family members and friends as well as his extended church family. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m. at the Weise Funeral Home. K of C Rosary Service 7 p.m. In State Friday 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church 9000 Laurence (at Wick) in Allen Park. Interment Woodmere Cemetery.
