Michael Muklewicz

Age 71. Beloved brother of Christine (Ed) Mendryga, Barbara (late Larry) Whitney, Elizabeth (late Joseph) Drost, late Carolyn (late Robert) Haro and the late Anthony (Karen) Muklewicz. Loving uncle of Tony, Tim, Adam, Paul and Emily.

No services will be held for Mike at this time.

Mike will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He was always ready to help feed the underprivileged in the Detroit area and wanted to make the world a more just and compassionate place.  Mike will be remembered for his wry sense of humor and his love for his two cats Sarah Berra and Norma Jeane. He was very proud of, and interested in, his Polish heritage.  Mike was an avid reader and enjoyed many music genres from Bob Dylan to jazz.  His last act of kindness was to be a Gift of Life donor.

Any donations made in Mike's honor may be made to Shelter to Home Animal Shelter in Wyandotte, MI or Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan.
