March 15, 2025. Preceded in death by her parents Russell and Josephine Dunlap. Her husband Robert Schulz and her brother and sister-in-law Russell and Karen Dunlap. Beloved mother of Jennifer (Robert) Roesler of Commerce Twp. and Judy (Joe) Champa of Shelby Twp. Loving grandmother of Andrew Potter, Jessica Champa and Robert Champa. Dear sister of James (Anne) Dunlap of Dearborn. Sister-in-law of Donna L., of Grosse Pointe Woods. Also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many long-time friends and acquaintances.
Marilyn graduated from Lincoln Park High School in January of 1954. She enjoyed her job as a guide/interpreter at The Henry Ford in between long-term stints as an Administrative Assistant at Detroit Edison and Masco.
Marilyn loved spending time with her many friends and family. She kept herself busy. She had many hobbies and enjoyed traveling, playing cards, volunteering, and being physically active. She was often seen walking around the city of Allen Park where she was a long time resident. Marilyn was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church for many years and had a strong faith in God. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 - 8 pm at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park, Allen Park, MI 48101
A Rosary Service will be Friday Evening at 7:00 pm at the Funeral Home
In State Saturday from 9:30 am until time of Mass 10 am at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 9000 Laurence, Allen Park, MI
Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown Twp., MI
