She enjoyed traveling with the Nomads and her family on adventures to Europe, China, Hong Kong, Korea and many locations in the US. She took her granddaughters to Hawaii and they had a fun-filled trip together.
Her family joined Allen Park Presbyterian Church in 1953 when they moved to Allen Park. She was ordained a Deacon of the Church and volunteered many hours at the church office. She enjoyed attending the Church sponsored Camp Wakanda with her friends and always had a memorable time at the camp.
Margaret was an avid Lions and Tigers fan. Opening day with the Tigers was one of her favorite things.
