Louise Maria Downey

Louise Maria Downey, 94, of Allen Park/Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on June 21,

2018.

Born June 11, 1924, Munich, Germany, daughter of Maria Feldmeier Holmeier and

Wolfgang Holmeier.

She is survived by her children, Gabriela (Michael Cannarella), of Portland, OR;

Stephen (Catherine Papillon), of Paris, France; and Lee Downey, Northville; three

grandchildren, Christophe (Pauline Hourquebie), Mark, Alexandra and one greatgrandchild,

Leon.

Private memorial services for the family will be conducted on Thursday, June 28. A

memorial for all her friends will be held at Henry Ford Village in October.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to her last home, The Henry Ford Village

Benevolent Foundation.
