Age 88. Beloved Husband of 67 years to Ruby. Loving father of Terry Tavernier, Deborah (Michel) McCallum and Melvin (Sharon) Stockard. Dear Brother of Marie Klepack, Nelva Reed, Annabell Remke, James, Duel, Ernest, Virgil, (late) Kenneth and (late) Hershel Stockard. 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Stockard was a retiree of Great Lakes Steel and Stockard Trucking. Visitation 5-8pm Monday and 2-8pm Tuesday. Funeral Service 11am Wednesday at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park, Allen Park (313-382-1150). Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery. Memorial Contribution to the American Heart Association, Lincoln Park Church of Christ or Dix Avenue Methodist Church would be appreciated.
