Age 92. Beloved husband of the late Anita. Loving father of Judith Kohn, Sally (Gerald) Sander and Bill (Judy) Korpi. Dearest brother of Nancy (James) Brophy. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Mr. Korpi was a Decorated Combat Infantry Veteran of WWII, serving in the South Pacific. Downriver Veterans Honor Guard Service Tuesday 4:30 pm followed by 5:00 pm Funeral Service at Weise Funeral Home 7210 Park Ave., Allen Park (313 382-1150). Visitation Tuesday 2 - 7pm. Interment White Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to charity of choice.
