Loving husband of Anne. Beloved father of Kim (Michael) Murphy, Karen (Late Michael) Weister. Dear brother of Barbara (Paul) Ceprish, Mary Cingel, the late Catherine Shriber, the late Betty Hehle and the late Adam Cingel. Loving grandfather of Kelsey, Erin, Brendan, and Julianna Murphy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cingel was a World War II army veteran. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday 12-8 p.m. at the Weise Funeral Home. Funeral service Thursday at Christ the Good Shepherd Church (1531 Riverbank, Lincoln Park) in state 9:00 a.m. and mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. Donations on behalf of the Cingel family can be made to the American Heart Association or Hospice of Michigan.
