John R. Mcadoo, Jr.

Passed into eternal life of October 1, 2016 at the age of 93. Born August 15, 1923 to John and Gertrude McAdoo, Sr. He was the oldest of four. He is survived by his brother William. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Lucille, his brother Robert and sister Patricia Stier. He raised five children, Thomas (Late Leslie), Kathryn (Steve) Gaymer, Janet (Lloyd) Whitten, Diane (John) Travis and Mary Ellen (Doug) Floto-McAdoo. He had 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mr. McAdoo served his country in World War II in the Navy. He was an active member of St. Frances Cabrini Church, the Knights of Columbus and his community. Visitation Wednesday 12 - 8 pm at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park, Allen Park, MI 48101. K of C Rosary Service Wednesday Evening at 6:15 pm. In State Thursday 9:30 am until time of Mass 10 am at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 9000 Laurence, Allen Park, MI. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
