Joan M. Cullinan

Age 84, died peacefully on December 25, 2017 after a short illness. Joan lived her life dedicated to service. She was a member of the IHM religious community for 20 years. Joan graduated from Marygrove College and then taught in several Catholic schools both during and after her years in the convent. She retired at 80, and then served at her parish (Our Lady of the Angels) until her death. Joan is survived by her sister, Patricia (Roland) Camarillo of Amherst, Ohio, five nephews and three nieces. Her parents, Patrick and Eleanore Cullinan, her sister, Suzanne Moon, and brother, Patrick Cullinan, all predeceased her. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on January 6, 2018 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 6442 Pelham, Taylor MI 48180. A gathering will begin at 10:30 at the church.
