Jeffrey Lynn Gay, of Allen Park, MI, passed away on March 1st, 2024, surrounded by his cherished family, including his beloved wife, Christine Gay. He was the loving father of Kristina and Jennifer Gay, and a devoted "PapaUber" to his grandchildren Catherine and Victoria Warlick.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Robert Gay, his mother, Jean Bayes, and his sister, Nancy Rebecca.
A devoted fan of the Detroit Red Wings, Jeff found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid camper and canoeist, always taking the time to stop and appreciate the beauty of nature.
Throughout his life, Jeff held a variety of jobs, from paramedic to entrepreneur, to his work as a Tool & Die worker at the Ford Woodhaven Stamping Plant. He was actively involved with UAW Local 387 and played a pivotal role in founding the Frost Bite Open, a cherished fundraiser for the Penrickton Center For Blind Children.
Jeff's love for technology and artistry shone brightly through his company, GreyWolf Multimedia. In his leisure time, he found solace in playing The Settlers, indulging in his passion for gaming and creativity.
Jeff was also an enthusiastic sportsman, enjoying rounds of golf, bowling, softball, and competitive darts with friends. Above all, he was a devoted family man who found immense joy in spoiling his daughters and witnessing their happiness. He cherished the title of "PapaUber" and took great pride in driving his grandchildren to their tumbling and wrestling events, always eager to support them in every way possible.
Jeffrey Lynn Gay will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his memory be a blessing and his spirit live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Visitation for Jeff will take place on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 3-8 pm at Weise Funeral Home, with a closing prayer at 7:30 pm.
Following the services, Jeff will be cremated.
