Dearest sister of Garnet Hiuser, Kitty Onsted, and the late Robert Thomsen. Loving grandmother of Tommy Jr. (Jeni) Surcek, Kaylee (Dave) Stamper, Brandon (Devin) Surcek, Jessica (Henry) Call, Tori (Justin) Vellmure, Corey Surcek, Delaney (Antonio) Stamper, and Cassidy (Ricardo) Stamper. Great grandmother of Ryan Vellmure, Ben Surcek, Chase Surcek, Abraham Call, Elliott Surcek, Owen Vellmure, Dakota Merideth, Grant Call, Kamilla Orozco, Angelo Rodriguez, Cameron Merideth, and Luka Orozco.

Visitation for Janice will take place on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 1-8 pm at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park Avenue, Allen Park, MI 48101.

Funeral service on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11 am at Weise Funeral Home.

Interment at Michigan Memorial Park.
