Age 81. Beloved husband of Shirley. Cherished father of Lorna (David) Zalenski, Cheryl (Burt) Decker, Alan (Bongja) Doty, Robert Doty, William Doty and the late Sandra Kitson. Dear grandfather of Lauren (Crystle), Jonathan, Shaun, Kierra (Jonathan), Burt (Marie), Patricia (Tracey), Robert (Crystal), Robert (Anne), the late Michael, Kimberly, Heather (Bob), Kayla and Krista. Loving great grandfather of Alyssa, Lucas, Chance, Mila, Tony, Cale, Ella, Braden, Lucas, Logan and Oriana. Dear brother of Shirley Bays, Eleanor Leroux, the late Ransom Leroux, the late James Leroux and the late Rita Poirer. Former husband of Jean Karazim. Also survived by many nieces and nephews especially Darlene (Mike) Wanitshka. Visitation Friday 1 - 8 pm at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park Ave., Allen Park, MI 48101. Vigil Service 7:15pm Friday Evening. In State Saturday 10 am until time of Mass 10:30 am at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 9000 Laurence, Allen Park.
