Geraldine Knight

In memory of Geraldine (Jeri) Knight of Allen Park, MI who passed away peacefully at her home on October 20, 2015 in the company of close friends. She was a longtime resident of Allen Park and a member of the Allen Park Presbyterian Church where she is interred. Jeri was an avid gardener and maintained her parents Garden Club prize winning flower garden on Harrison Street in their honor and memory. Her quick wit, cheerful attitude and generosity were her trademarks, shared and enjoyed by her many friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren E. and Emma (Shimansky) Hart, two sons, Warren G. and Jack R. Knight, one brother Ronald (Jean) Hart, her aunt, Grace (Carl) Voss of Dearborn, MI. She is survived by her "chosen family": Sister Dorothy Kane; nephew, Maj. John A.(Diane) Kane, U.S.A.F., Ret. all of Kincheloe, MI; niece, Susanne Hayden of Gurnee, IL; granddaughter Angela Lowrey and dear friends and caregivers, Joan Harvey of Brighten, MI, Betty Rossetto of Wallbridge, OH, Linda Duckett, Monica Bollman, Jan Varady of Chelsea, Barb and Bob Getner, Susan Jossefidies and family, Kim and Bob Diebel, Linda Shovak and so many more friends and neighbors. You are loved and missed. Rest in Peace.
