George Knight

Age 87, November 5, 2017.  Beloved husband of Ruth.  Loving father of Laurie Knight, Gary Knight, Robert Knight and Patrick (Tobi) Knight.  Dear brother of Bill Knight and Marion (John) Kelleman. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Mr. Knight proudly served in the United States  Army during the Korean War.  After retirement he worked as a volunteer at the Michigan Humane Society for over 18 years.  Visitation will be Tuesday 1 - 8 pm at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park Ave., Allen Park, MI 48101. Downriver Veterans Honor Guard Service 7pm Tuesday at the Funeral Home.   In State Wednesday 10 am until time of Funeral Service 11 am at Angelica Lutheran Church, 8400 Park Ave., Allen Park.  Entombment Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to Angelica Lutheran Church or the Michigan Humane Society.
