Age 98. March 6, 2016. Beloved husband of Kathryn. Loving father of Frank J. (Katherine) Cernak III, Linda Cernak, Nancy Cernak, late Tommy Cernak, Mary MacDonell, Sue (James) Sikora and Steve (Meg) Cernak. Dear brother of the late Wilma Bielski. Grandfather of late Karen, Jennifer (Scott), Joe (Jen), Laura (Nick), John, Steven (Courtney), Michael, Tom, Peter, Robert and Daniel. Great grandfather of Jeremy, Ella, Frankie, Joey and Katie.
Visitation 3-8pm Wednesday at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park, Allen Park (313-382-1150). Funeral service 11:00am Thursday (In state from 10:30am) at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 9000 Laurence (at Wick), Allen Park. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
