Age 82. Beloved husband of Marilyn. Loving father of Alejandro Enriquez and Jennifer (Richard) Mahnke. Dear brother of Oscar Enriquez and late Sergio (late Roscio) Enriquez. Grandfather of Salinity and Garrison.

Dr. Enrique Enriquez, MD, passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, humor, and unwavering love. For 48 beautiful years, he shared a devoted marriage with his beloved wife, building a life centered on family, service, and kindness. He was a proud and loving father to two children who were the center of his world.

Dr. Enriquez devoted 40 years of service to the Emergency Department at Henry Ford Hospital, where he cared for countless patients with exceptional skill, intelligence, and compassion. Medicine was not simply his profession — it was his calling. Colleagues respected him not only for his brilliance and dedication, but for the warmth and humanity he brought into even the most difficult moments.

Known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, Enrique had a smile that truly lit up every room he entered. He had the rare ability to make people feel comfortable, valued, and cared for. Whether with family, friends, coworkers, or patients, he brought laughter, wisdom, and genuine connection wherever he went.

He will be remembered as an intelligent and passionate man whose love for his family was immeasurable. Though deeply missed, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched through his work, friendship, and love.

His family finds comfort in the memories they shared and in the enduring impact he made on all who knew him.

Visitation for Dr. Enriquez will be from 1:00pm - 8:00pm Sunday, May 17 at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park, Allen Park (313-382-1150).

Funeral Mass 10:00am Monday, May 18 (In state from 9:30am) at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 9000 Laurence (at Wick), Allen Park.

Cremation will take place following his Funeral Mass.
