Elizabeth Gene Picklo

wife of Michael David Picklo, sister of Samuel, Frank Jr., Charles, Herbert and Eleanor. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law David and Donna, James and Robin, and Thomas and Lois. Also survived by her grandchildren Sherry and Mark as well as numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Elizabeth was born in Danville, Illinois on July 29, 1920 of parents Harlan and Gretchen Wilson. She lived her youth in Detroit before moving to Allen Park, Michigan where she lived and owned a home for 62 years. Elizabeth was a wonderful and caring mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, baking and canning. She won many ribbons for her entries at the Michigan State Fair, yet she was prized most for her pie making, just ask her family. She passed away on October 22,2013 at the age of 93. Elizabeth was a wonderful person and was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all whose life she crossed. Visitation 1-8pm Friday. Funeral Service 10:00am Saturday at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park, Allen Park (313-382-1150). Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery.
