Edward J. Kozlowski

Edward J. Kozlowski 81 of Allen Park passed away on July 4th, 2016. A lifelong resident of Michigan, Edward was born in Wyandotte on July 27, 1934. He graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in 1952. He married his forever sweetheart, Marion Bezzo, in 1953 and they embarked on their lifelong adventure. Edward began his career at Ford Motor Company at age 18 as a draftsman. He retired as a manager of Industrial Engineering after 37 years with the company at the age of 55. He and Marion then went on to travel the world. The flew to over 50 countries and traveled the U.S. and Canada extensively in their motor home. Edward was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed motorcycling, hunting, boating, swimming, and spending time with his family on their land in Northern Michigan. He also enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Marion, his four children Kathryn (Mike), E. Dean (Laura), Brian, and Karen. Also, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and sister Annette (Henry) Neubauer.

Visitation is 4:00pm - 8:00pm Saturday, July 9 and 12:00pm - 8:00pm Sunday, July 10 at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park, Allen Park (313-382-1150). Funeral service 10:00am Monday, July 11 (In state from 9:30am) at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 9000 Laurence (at Wick), Allen Park.
Interment Michigan Memorial Park.
