Edward Klenczar

age 88, November 4, 2015. Beloved husband of Elida "Alice" whom he met on New Years Eve in 1947 and danced on for 66 years. Loving father of Dennis (Lin), David (Pamla), Joe (Beth), Jim (Gail) and Janice (Keith) Sandie. Loving grandfather of Andrew (Chanda), Jason (Kelsey), Krystal, Matt, Mark, Bronson, Lauren, Craig and the late Ryan. Dear nonnu of Presleigh and Kaylee. Loving brother of Josephine Wood. Dear brother in law of Noemi Dluzniewski, Dolores Dibrano and Louis (Theresa) Marson. Edward was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran who served in WWII and the Korean War. He worked 30 years for the Wayne County Circuit Court and was president of the Court Clerks Association. He enjoyed 35 years of retirement. He took up the game of golf and enjoyed travel. He was also the Past Grand Knight of the Father Saylor Knights of Columbus, Allen Park. Visitation Saturday 4 - 8 pm and Sunday 12 - 8 pm at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park Ave., Allen Park, MI 48101. Service Sunday Evening at 7 pm. In State Monday 9:30 am until time of Mass 10 am at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 9000 Laurence, Allen Park. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
