Edward Graney

Edward James Graney passed into Eternal Life on December 8, 2021 at the age of 73.

Beloved husband of Blanche

Cherished father of Christine (Tom), Colleen (Patrick) and Mary (Rael)

Loving grandfather of Jonah, Ben, Maeve. Mara, Grace, Brady, Elijah and Maya.

Preceded in death by his parents Gertrude and Paul Graney and his twin brother, Paul M. Graney

Ed was born in Buffalo, New York. Ed was a wonderful husband who always prioritized his family.  He was the most patient and loving father and grandfather.  He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and the Faithful Purser of the 4th Degree, the Sacred Heart Council in Grosse Ile.  Ed was a faithful Catholic who lived his faith every day.  Over the years he volunteered for endless Church and K of C events doing fundraisers, teaching catechism and serving the needy. He was particularly passionate for protection for the unborn and spent many hours donating his time to the local crisis pregnancy center.

Visitation Sunday 1 - 8 pm at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park Ave, Allen Park, MI  48101.  K of C Rosary Service Sunday 7:00 pm

In State Monday 9:30 am until time of Mass 10 am at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 9000 Laurence, Allen Park.
