Duane R. Stopa

Age 51. Beloved Son of Sylvia and the late Stanley. Loving Husband of Billie. Dear Father of Lauren, Alexis and Kyle Stopa, Samantha and Sean Stewart. Dear Brother of Geraldine (Bud) Hillard, Donald (Paula) and the late Kenneth (Karen) Stopa. Also survived by Tobey the Dog. Duane was an avid outdoorsman, worked as a Nurse Anesthetist and was Nursing Director of Rehab at the Detroit Medical Center. Visitation 5-8pm Thursday and 12-8pm Friday. Funeral Service 11am Saturday at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park, Allen Park (313-382-1150). Memorial Contributions may be made to the family for the care of Duane's children or to the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
