David C. Forbes

David was born June 19, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan and died November 3, 2018 in Oxnard, California. He is formerly of Detroit, Lincoln Park, Allen Park & Brownstown Township, Michigan. David is the son of Harry Forbes and Clara Miller Forbes Pinneo.  He served as a PFC in the US Army in Korea and is a member of the VFW.

David was preceded in death by his parents Harry Forbes, Clara Pinneo and his step father Charles Pinneo; the love of his life and best friend, his wife Dorothy Gora Poisson Forbes who passed away in 1994; and his daughter Suzanne Bronikowski.

David is survived by his sons William R. (Leslie) Poisson and James R. (Bobbie) Poisson; Grandchildren Daniel (Natalie) Poisson, Michele Poisson, Nicole Bronikowski, Leah Lutz, James M. Poisson; Great grandchildren Jacob (Candee) Poisson, Cameron Poisson and Jason Poisson; and Great great grandchild Kyla Poisson. David also leaves behind his second love and longtime companion who will miss him dearly, Jacqueline Flint of Oxnard, California.

David will be greatly missed by his family.

Funeral Service 11:00am Saturday, November 17 at Weise Funeral Home.

Interment Michigan Memorial Park.
