David John Boomer

Age 57. Beloved husband of Claudia. Loving father of Karen Strong, Matthew (Jamie) Rekuc and Steven Rekuc. Dear brother of Mary Ann (Bill) Gibson, Robert (Betty) Boomer, James (Mary) Boomer and Donald (Carmen) Boomer. Dearest grandfather of Austin Rekuc, Logan Teatsorth, Elyse Strong, Morgan Rekuc, Ariel Teatsorth, Emily Strong and Benjamin Rekuc. Mr. Boomer worked for Ford Motor Company for over 25 years. He enjoyed taking road trips up north, golfing, and most of all spending time with his friends and family who he loved very much. David's favorite color was red. His family is requesting those attending the Funeral Service, if you're able, please wear something red in David's honor. Visitation Thursday 4 - 8 pm and Friday 12 - 8 pm at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park Ave., Allen Park, MI 48101. Scripture Service Friday Evening at 7:15 pm. In State Saturday 9:30 am until time of Mass 10 am at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 9000 Laurence, Allen Park. Interment Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
