Colette Whalen

Whalen, Marie Colette (Renier). Beloved wife of Timothy for 42 years. Loved by her three sons: Dennis (Erin), Joseph (Karen) and Paul (Lisa). Adored grandmother of Aidan, Mitchell, Florence, Remi and Anna. Preceded in death by her sister Mary and parents Joseph and Anna Renier. Sister of Denny Patterson, Blanid Lamb, Toni Schlaff and Connie Swank. Cherished by her many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to Colette’s niece, Bridget, for her exceptional devotion and unending care of their mother. Additionally, they wish to express their gratitude to her wonderful caregivers, Tina and Cheryl and also the staff at Henry Ford Hospice.
Visitation at Weise Funeral Home,7210 Park, Allen Park (313-382-1150) on November 21st from 3pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass at St. Frances Cabrini, 9000 Laurence (at Wick) Allen Park, MI on November 22nd at 10:30am (In State at church from 10:00am). In lieu of flowers please make donation to the Alzheimer’s Association of Michigan.
