Charles J. Binder, Sr.

Age 94. Beloved husband of Magdalena for 68 years. Loving father of Charles L. Binder, Michael J. Binder and the late Vicky Ann Binder. Dearest grandfather of Charles L. Binder, II. Mr. Binder served during WWII with the Army Corps of Engineers, 341st Battalion. He was stationed in France and Belgium. He was employed by Ford Motor Company for over 43 years until his retirement. He was also a retired usher at St. Frances Cabrini Church, Allen Park. Visitation Sunday 3 – 8 pm at Weise Funeral Home 7210 Park Ave., Allen Park. Scripture Service Sunday 5 pm. In State Monday 10:00 am until time of Mass 10:30 am at St. Frances Cabrini Church 9000 Laurence (at Wick), Allen Park. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Downriver A.R.C. or the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
