Barbara Jean Lindemeyer

Brbara Jean Lindemeyer was born July 20, 1936 in Snowshoe, Pennsylvania. Although Pennsylvania is known for its snow, Barbara often told the story of being born on a day that reached 100 degrees. Barbara departed this life on January 9, 2019. She in now joined with her parents Ralph and Marjorie, sister Marva Hillard and husband Thomas Lindemeyer in Heaven.

Barbara lived in Taylor, Michigan for most of her adult life. She loved gardening, feeding the squirrels in her backyard, and caring for her cats. She had a sense of fashion that led to her passion for artwork and decorating. To her family and friends, Barbara will always be known for her unique soul and gentle nature. Barbara genuinely loved anyone who took the time to have a relationship with her. She made neighbors, cats, and extended family all feel like immediate family.

Barbara is survived by nieces, nephews,her step-children Sheila (Ben) Wilson, Denise (Kevin) Coolbaugh, Thomas Lindemeyer, William Lindemeyer, late Catherine (Bill) Peterson and the late Adam Lindemeyer as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation 3:00pm - 7:00pm Monday, January 14 at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park, Allen Park (313-382-1150).

Funeral Service 11:00am Tuesday, January 15 (In state from 10:00am) at Angelica Lutheran Church, 8400 Park Avenue, Allen Park.

Interment Northview Cemetery.
