age 81, July 23, 2006. Beloved husband of Margaret.
Loving father of Ronald (Judith) Carlson, Barbara (Michael) Kilbourn, Richard (Marian) Carlson, and Russell (Andrea) Carlson. Dearest grandfather of Doug Wood, Kelly and Kerry Carlson, Stephen and Matthew Katz, Megan and Anna Kilbourn, Amanda, Matthew, and Rebecca Carlson. Dear great grandfather of Melina and Brenden Wood, and Jacob and Savannah Katz. Dear brother of Dorothy Foucher and Lloyd (Cherryl) Teller. Mr. Carlson retired after 31 years of service with the Ford Motor Company. He was a former president of the Jaycees, and former Scout Master for the Boy Scouts. He served in the Navy during WWII and was an active participant in the D-Day Invasion of Omaha Beach. Visitation Wednesday 12 – 5 pm., and 6 – 8 pm Funeral services Thursday 11 am at St. Luke Episcopal Church, 15603 Wick, Allen Park. Interment Grand Lawn Cemetery. Contributions to St. Luke Episcopal Church Organ Fund Preferred.
