Alma S. Dipple

NEE Engel, age 94 died January 20, 2012 in her Allen Park home. Beloved wife of the late Andrew. Dearest mother of Marcia (Danny) Williams, Melvyn Dipple, Nancy (Joe) Aron and Charlotte Hof. Proud grandmother of 12, and great grandmother of 12. Dear sister of Elna Artress, Albert Engel, the late Norman Engel, and the late Christopher Engel. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A longtime resident of Allen Park, her Becker – Engel family farm established in the early years of Allen Park’s history, founded both Becker and Engelwood streets. An accomplished pianist, she entertained with a band until her 86th year and still gave piano lessons at 92 years young. A grand, generous, gifted and multitalented lady, who loved her flower and rose gardens, will always be cherished and remembered with great love. Visitation Tuesday January 24 from 1 – 8 pm at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park Ave., Allen Park. In State Wednesday January 25 at Trinity – St. Mark’s Church 9315 W. Fort St. in Southwest Detroit at 10 am until time of service 11 am. Rev. Steve Archer officiating. Interment Woodmere Cemetery.
